Bazan Refinery Hit Again in Latest Missile Barrage; No Hazardous Leak Detected
Military censors have cleared for publication that the Bazan oil refinery in Haifa was struck during a heavy missile and drone barrage from Iran and Hezbollah today.
This marks the second time this month that the strategic facility has sustained damage, with reports indicating a direct hit on a fuel tanker and an industrial building.
While thick smoke was visible across the area, emergency teams contained the blaze and confirmed no damage to primary production facilities.
The Haifa Municipality and the Ministry of Environmental Protection have officially ruled out any risk of a hazardous materials incident following the strike.
Air quality monitoring confirmed that no toxic substances were released, and there is no immediate danger to the public.
