Chareidi Peleg Protests Cause Traffic Disruptions and Injuries

Two men were hit by vehicles during Chareidi Peleg protests today. A 93-year-old is moderately injured in a hit-and-run at the Geha Interchange, while a 21-year-old is in moderate condition after being hit Highway 1 near the Ganot Interchange.

The driver turned herself in, while also saying her car was being hit by stones from protesters.

Highway 4 from HaShiv’a interchange to Messubim interchange, as well as the Geha Junction, due to protesters blocking the roads.

Parts of Highway 1 and Highway 444 were also blocked, as well as Highway 4 and the train tracks at the Tel Aviv Ha’Hgana station, which was blocked all the way to Ben Gurion Airport.

Traffic disruption extended to Highway 6, where the Hadid tunnel was blocked in both directions, while rail service from Tel Aviv to Ben Gurion Airport and Jerusalem was also blocked.
