Year After Iranian Missile Strike: Damaged Bnei Brak Building Demolished to Make Way for 84 New Apartments💪
Demolition work began on a residential building on HaMakabim Street in Bnei Brak that was critically damaged by an Iranian missile strike on June 16, 2025, during Operation “Am Kelavi.”
The four-story structure, which originally contained 24 housing units, was rendered uninhabitable following the attack. Within less than a year of the strike, real estate developer Urbanitop secured a building permit to clear the site and advance a major urban renewal project under TAMA 38/2.
The redevelopment plan features three new residential buildings comprising 84 housing units designated for the Chareidi community, alongside approximately 422 square meters of ground-floor commercial space.
Financial backing and guarantees for the project, valued at approximately 247 million NIS, are being provided by the Bareket real estate finance firm in partnership with Shlomo Insurance.
