So this lady, Adina Miles, was hired to pressure a Yid from Montreal to give his wife a Gett after leaving her an agunah for over 5 years and went on the Zev Brenner show and went off 🙈

I looked into the story, and this is the #CBN take 💪
1. This guy has two legitimate seruvim against him and should be blacklisted from every Jewish event on the planet until he frees his wife. He is an animal and should be treated as such.
2. The Beis Din system is far from perfect and, until Moshiach comes, it will remain that way. That being said, the current Beis Din system (if you use a legitimate Beis Din) is more than capable of negotiating a halachic and legal custody and financial agreement that can be enforced in a court of law. They have those powers, and the batei dinim that were used in this case have accomplished this many times in the past.
3. The husband is obviously the bad guy here because if he wanted an easy and quick resolution, he could have had one without going to federal court (which is where they are now) and could have moved on with his life. He just wants to torture this woman.
At the end of the day, what this hired gun is doing to pressure this husband needs to be done because there is no one else willing to do it, but it’s being done using methods that are far from acceptable for Yidden. It’s an embarrassment for Klal Yisroel on all ends. We need the Gedolei Yisroel need to figure out a way to solve the agunah issue, but having a lunatic doing whatever she feels neccesary to “solve the crisis” will never bring lasting positive results.
The divorce rate is skyrocketing because our dor is weak, and this issue will get much bigger unless a better system can be implemented…
And as a side note, there is no way any legitimate rabbi is supporting the actions that this married woman is taking to bring attention to the agunah issue.
