Gerrer Rebbe Breaks Longstanding Precedent to Attend Military Prison 10 Protest
In a major departure from routine, the Gerrer Rebbe is scheduled to personally attend a mass demonstration outside Military Prison 10 on Wednesday at 4:00 PM.
Roughly 8,000 Chassidim are in attendance, and more are en route to the site to join the protest.

The Gerrer Chassidus, which is the largest Chassidus in Israel, historically stays far away from public protests of this nature, choosing instead to handle these matters in a political way.
The decision to mobilize for a rally follows a recent wave of arrests targeting Yeshiva Bochurim, including a Gerrer Chassid who was detained and sentenced to a military prison.
