Hatzalah Rescues Child From Locked Vehicle in Jackson, NJ During Extreme Heat
A young child was rescued from a vehicle this afternoon in the Brookwood 1 section of Jackson Township after being accidentally left inside as temperatures climbed above 90 degrees.
Volunteers from Hatzolah and Chaveirim responded to the scene. Upon arrival, Hatzalah members broke a window to safely reach the child trapped inside the car. The child was treated at the scene and, B”H, was not seriously hurt and did not need to be transported to a hospital.

Everyone with a young child needs to sit down with their better half TONIGHT and figure out how and what they are going to do, to make sure this cant happen to them. That includes making sure the chidlren dont have access to the keys and vehicle doors are always locked…
If your child’s morah doesnt have a safety system in place, that notifies both parents within ten minutes of usual time of drop off, then have a talk with your child’s morah.
Kollel should hire somone to walk the lot a couple of times within the first half hour of seder, to make sure all vehicles are clear.*
