Hezbollah Reportedly Ready for Full Ceasefire with Israel – Axios
A Lebanese official told Axios that Hezbollah is prepared for a full ceasefire with Israel.
The claim comes amid a fresh U.S. push led by Secretary of State Marco Rubio. The proposal called for Hezbollah to halt missile and drone attacks, with Israel refraining from major strikes on Beirut. Lebanese President Joseph Aoun was reportedly supportive, but Parliament Speaker Nabih Berri (who has ties to Hezbollah) gave an “evasive” response.
However, a senior Lebanese official painted a bleaker picture: Neither side truly wants a ceasefire right now, and Iran’s Revolutionary Guard is encouraging Hezbollah to escalate for leverage in broader talks.
