House Subcommittee to Probe Antisemitism and Political Influence in Healthcare

The House Subcommittee on Health, Employment, Labor, and Pensions is set to convene a hearing titled “Bad Medicine: Politics, Unions, and Antisemitism in Health Care.” Scheduled for Wednesday, May 20, 2026, at 10:15 a.m., the session will be chaired by Representative Rick Allen (R-GA) in the Rayburn House Office Building.

The hearing is organized to examine the role of politics and unions within the medical field, specifically focusing on reports of antisemitism and “Jew-hatred” in healthcare. Lawmakers intend to investigate how these factors may be impacting the professional environment of healthcare institutions and, by extension, the quality of patient care. The proceedings will be open to the press and available for public viewing via livestream.
