IDF Chief: Iranian 4,000km Missile Strike Puts Berlin, Paris, and Rome in Direct Range

IDF Chief of Staff Lt. Gen. Eyal Zamir confirmed today that Iran has demonstrated the operational ability to strike deep into the European mainland.

Zamir revealed that Iran launched a two-stage ballistic missile targeting the joint U.S.-UK base at Diego Garcia—a distance of approximately 4,000 kilometers.

While the strike failed, the flight path proved that Tehran’s reach is double what it previously claimed. “These missiles were not intended to hit Israel,” Zamir warned.

“Their range reaches the capitals of Europe—Berlin, Paris, and Rome are all within direct threat range.”

The disclosure serves as a stark message to NATO: the Iranian threat is no longer a regional issue, but a direct risk to the heart of Europe.
