IDF Chief of Staff and senior officers secretly visited UAE
Following earlier reports this week that Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu secretly visited the United Arab Emirates, new details have emerged revealing that IDF Chief of Staff Lt. Gen. Eyal Zamir and other senior military officers also traveled to the Gulf state. The visits took place during “Operation Roaring Lion,” the recent military conflict with Iran.
The delegation led by the Chief of Staff reportedly focused on deepening security coordination between the two nations. This high-level military presence coincided with the deployment of Israeli Iron Dome air-defense systems and personnel to the UAE to assist in defending against Iranian missile and drone threats.
