He emphasized that Israel’s defense and strike systems remain fully alert, noting that recent interceptions and strikes in Iran were carried out “quickly and forcefully,” and described them as “preparation for a significantly larger and heavier blow.”

He warned that Iran’s attempts to “set equations and change reality will fail,” and added that the IDF will continue intensifying operations against Hezbollah while defending northern Israeli communities.

“The IDF is alert and will act forcefully wherever a threat to Israeli civilians is identified,” he said.

Zamir also referred to ongoing combat in southern Lebanon, saying IDF forces are operating across multiple areas to destroy terrorist infrastructure, including a significant underground site in the Beaufort area used by Hezbollah as a command and fire-control center.

Addressing officers in training, he said that leadership courses are a key pillar in maintaining the army’s professionalism and standards during prolonged multi-front warfare.

Zamir told commanders that their leadership will determine the IDF’s ability to succeed in complex missions while upholding operational discipline and military values.
