IDF’s 869th Intelligence Unit Destroys Hezbollah Drone Infrastructure in Southern Lebanon
The IDF confirmed that the Shahaf 869th Combat Intelligence Collection Unit, operating under the 91st Division, is continuing its deployment in southern Lebanon to dismantle threats along the northern border.
The unit is actively gathering tactical intelligence, identifying targets, and directing precision strikes against hostile infrastructure.
Over the past two weeks, the intelligence unit, in coordination with the Israeli Air Force, directed strikes that eliminated more than 20 terrorists who were actively planning attacks against Israeli forces.
Additionally, the forces dismantled multiple military sites, including compounds utilized by Hezbollah operatives to launch explosive drones targeting IDF ground forces.
