IDF Launches Widespread Wave of Airstrikes Across Southern Lebanon and the Beqaa Valley
The Israeli Air Force initiated a powerful wave of coordinated airstrikes targeting multiple Hezbollah strongholds across both deep Lebanese territory and the southern region. The synchronized operations focus heavily on infrastructure, launch sites, and command hubs.
In the Beqaa Valley, located deep within northeastern Lebanon, targeted strikes hit the areas of Bodai, Halbata, and Hermel. These sectors have historically served as critical logistical rear-bases and weapon-smuggling corridors for the militant group.
Simultaneously, a massive barrage rained down across southern Lebanon, systematically hitting a dense cluster of towns and villages. The air raids targeted targets in Zifta, Jibchit, Mayfadoun, Shokin, Tafahta, Harouf, and Qaqaaiyet Al-Jisr, alongside continued strikes within the major urban center of Nabatieh, following recent evacuation orders for the city.
