In recent days, troops of the 36th Division have deepened the limited, targeted ground activity toward an additional objective in southern Lebanon. So far, the troops have struck and eliminated dozens of terrorists and dismantled terrorist infrastructure.

This activity is part of the effort to establish a forward defense posture that will create an additional layer of security for the residents of the north. The IDF will continue to operate with determination against the Hezbollah terrorist organization and will not allow harm to the residents of Israel.
