🔸The documents also reveal a meeting held between senior officials from Hamas and Hezbollah in the presence of the former commander of the Palestinian branch of the Quds Force, the so-called Saeed Izadi, aimed at endorsing the joint project. As part of these understandings, Hezbollah agreed to assist Hamas in storing and transporting equipment to the areas where it would be positioned, in addition to providing financial support.

🔸The documents further indicate that Hamas planned, with Hezbollah’s approval and support, to purchase advanced weapons, expand the personnel of its military wing in Lebanon and enhance their performance, and improve and develop its rocket program and affiliated artillery forces.

🔸According to the documents, the Lebanese arena can assist Hamas in a potential confrontation with Israel, while also enabling it to exert actual control over areas inside Lebanon.

🔸These documents provide a glimpse into the positioning of Hamas and Hezbollah inside Lebanon and once again prove that Hezbollah decided, without consultation or obtaining approval from the Lebanese state, to remove areas from Lebanese sovereignty and effectively hand them over to terrorist elements affiliated with Hamas.

🔸Hezbollah, as also evident from the documents, acts in southern Lebanon as a state within a state, without hesitation in endangering Lebanon’s future in service of external interests.
