Iran’s Deputy Foreign Minister Kazem Gharibabadi describes the deal reached between the United States and Iran.
“The 60-day negotiations will begin after verification of the implementation of American commitments.”
“On Friday, we will have an official signing, and the heads of the two delegations will hold talks to determine the arrangements for the upcoming negotiations. Until then, the commitments of the American side regarding the end of the war, lifting the siege, and the release of assets will be verified. Entering the 60-day negotiations is conditional on the implementation of these American commitments.”
“The end of all sanctions against the Islamic Republic of Iran, both primary and secondary sanctions, as well as the termination of Security Council and Board of Governors resolutions, will be among the topics negotiated during the 60-day period.”
“All sanctions will be lifted if a final agreement is reached.”
“The second topic to be negotiated within 60 days is the nuclear issue.”
“The topic of economic reconstruction and development will also be negotiated during these 60 days, and its mechanism will be finalized.”
“Another topic is determining the executive mechanism for monitoring the proper implementation of the parties’ commitments.”
