Iran Fires Missiles at USS Abraham Lincoln After Rejecting Trump Ceasefire Offer

Iran claimed Wednesday it launched Qader cruise missiles at the USS Abraham Lincoln carrier strike group near the Strait of Hormuz.

The strike was presented as retaliation after senior Iranian officials dismissed a proposed 15-point ceasefire plan from the Trump administration.

Iranian state media said the missiles forced the American carrier to change position, with naval commanders warning of more attacks if US ships came within range. Officials rejected the ceasefire proposal delivered through intermediaries, calling the terms unacceptable.

US officials have not confirmed any attack or damage. The Pentagon has previously denied similar Iranian claims, stating the Abraham Lincoln remains fully operational with no missiles reaching the ship.
