“If Iran attacks us, there will be a response that will reignite the war.”
Channel 14’s Military Correspondent Hallel Bitton-Rosen reports tense and anxious hours across Israel as the defense establishment prepares for a potential Iranian missile strike. While a targeted strike hit a Hezbollah headquarters in the Dahiyeh earlier today, intelligence sources suggest it was a “symbolic” move intended to quell public criticism.
Despite the imminent threat, there has been an almost complete halt to offensive activity and airstrikes in Lebanon as Israel allows the U.S. to exhaust negotiations with Iran. However, this restraint is being met with a heavy price, resulting in more sirens for the home front and mounting casualties on the front lines.
