Missing Israeli Mother and Daughter in Vienna May Have Moved to Another Country

Israeli police investigating the disappearance of Maly Yahalomi and her daughter, Liel, are looking into indications that the pair may have left Austria and traveled to another country.

Investigators are also examining information suggesting the two may have taken a substantial amount of money with them when they left Israel.

Police are further checking whether location information was erased from their phones, potentially complicating efforts to reconstruct their movements.

Police Commissioner Danny Levy has transferred the investigation to Lahav 433 and ordered a 24-hour command center to operate both in Israel and abroad.

Authorities are currently pursuing all possible leads. They have also not ruled out the possibility that the disappearance was connected to a nationalistic motive.
