Former counterterrorism director maintains innocence amid leak probe concerns
Former National Counterterrorism Center Director Joe Kent told Megyn Kelly that he’s not afraid of the FBI’s investigation into him because he knows he did nothing wrong.
“As for the leak allegations, I’m not concerned because I know I did nothing wrong. Of course, I am concerned because we’ve all seen the FBI and the full weight of the government come down on individuals who speak out. So, that has me a little bit concerned, but I know the truth and the facts are on my side.”
The investigation into former National Counterterrorism Center Director Joe Kent is focused on allegations that he improperly shared classified information, four people with direct knowledge of the investigation told Semafor.
