Mikal Bridges added 22 points and elite defense, Karl-Anthony Towns contributed 18 points and 12 rebounds, and OG Anunoby frustrated Victor Wembanyama all night.
Wembanyama powered the Spurs with 28 points and 14 rebounds to keep it close through three quarters, but New York’s veteran execution and lockdown defense took over, holding San Antonio to just 8 points in the final stretch.
