The LSTA really had no choice here. If they didn’t bring the cost down to around $290 and get the non-mandated kids back on the buses, there would be little reason for the LSTA to continue to exist.
The question remains: Why are taxpayers being forced to pick up the tab for a $2.7 million hole that the Township should have addressed months ago?
