Mother’s 911 Calls Foil Alleged Terror Plot at White House UFC Event
A mother’s repeated calls to Ohio police on June 10 led to the disruption of an alleged plot to attack the UFC Freedom 250 event on the White House grounds on June 14, 2026.
Tycen C. Proper, 19, of Danville, Ohio, was one of five men arrested. The group allegedly planned drone bombings over the arena followed by sniper attacks on high-value targets, including lawmakers.
Proper’s mother reported his sudden purchases of guns, ammo, and tactical gear, plus online chats about “hit-and-run missions” against the government. Police found evidence on his devices confirming the March-started plot.
The other suspects are Bryan Omar Roa, 24 (CA); Michael Alan Thomas, 32 (CA); Daniel K. Eskridge, 32 (MO); and Abraham Hermosillo Alvarez, 31 (NE), reportedly the ringleader.
All face federal charges including conspiracy to commit murder and violence on federal grounds. The plot was stopped before any action.
