Channel 13 reports that Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and the IDF had wanted to launch a much larger ground operation in Gaza, but the Trump administration blocked it, saying it did not want a new conflict while focused on bigger priorities.
Instead, Israel is reportedly pursuing a gradual, low-profile expansion of its operations in Gaza beyond the Yellow Line.
