Police Confirm Drone Surveillance Over Lakewood During Pesach
Residents in Lakewood who spotted drones over certain sensitive areas during Pesach were observing an authorized law enforcement operation, officials said.
The Lakewood Police Department said that the drones were deployed by its officers as part of a coordinated security initiative in place throughout Yom Tov.

The effort also involved the Ocean County Sheriff’s Department, New Jersey State Police, and Shomrim, which provided both aerial and on-the-ground coverage across the township.
Authorities did not disclose which locations were under surveillance.
