Jew assaulted at shul, leads to search for suspect north of Toronto
Police are searching for a suspect after a victim was assaulted at a shul north of Toronto.
York Regional Police say the suspected hate-motivated incident happened around 9:35 a.m. at Sephardic Kehila Centre in Vaughan.

A male suspect tried to force his way into the shul and assaulted a victim before fleeing.
Police say the victim was not injured and have released a photo of the suspect.
The York Regional Police Hate Crime Unit is investigating, and anyone with information is asked to come forward.
