Police Violence During Protest in Jerusalem
During a demonstration against the construction of the light rail on Yehizkel Street in Jerusalem, police were filmed overturning a stroller with a toddler inside. Another officer reportedly struck the stroller with a baton.
The Jerusalem District Police Commander, Commissioner Avshalom Peled, ordered the immediate cessation of the involved officers’ activities and instructed that they be brought in for an immediate investigation.
