New footage and photographs from Larissa, Greece, have provided what experts are calling the clearest look yet at the U.S. Air Force’s highly classified RQ-180 stealth drone.
The “flying wing” aircraft, often referred to as the “Great White Bat,” was spotted making an unscheduled daylight landing at the 110th Combat Wing’s airbase, reportedly due to a technical malfunction.
While local media initially misidentified the craft as a B-2 Spirit bomber, military analysts have confirmed the airframe matches the distinct planform of the RQ-180—a high-altitude, long-endurance platform designed for penetrative intelligence and surveillance.
