Now – Saudi Arabia’s civil defense directorate warns citizens to be prepared for missile alerts/air raid warnings.
The Saudi Civil Defense has activated a national emergency alert for Al-Kharj Governorate following a danger warning issued by the National Early Warning Platform.
“Residents are urged to remain calm and follow these official safety instructions:
• Proceed immediately to the nearest safe indoor location (inside a building or an interior room away from windows and glass) and stay there until the all-clear is given.
• Do not leave your home or building until the danger has passed.
• Avoid open areas, balconies, roofs, windows, and glass.
• If outdoors, seek shelter in the nearest building or behind a solid barrier.
• Avoid crowds and hazardous areas; refrain from taking photos or videos.
• If driving when the alert is received, pull over safely away from bridges and high-rise buildings.”
