Shin Bet and IDF reveal: Dozens of Hamas-directed terror attacks from Turkey thwarted
The Shin Bet and IDF disclosed that dozens of terror attacks planned over the past year by Hamas operatives based in Turkey were successfully foiled.
According to Israeli authorities, Hamas’ West Bank Headquarters, led by Zaher Jabarin and military chief Ayman Abu Khalil, has been directing attacks, recruiting operatives, and transferring weapons and funds from Turkish territory.
Several key operatives based in Turkey were identified as playing central roles in financing, coordinating, and advancing terrorist activity targeting Israelis in Judea and Samaria and across Israel.
The Shin Bet and IDF said they will continue acting against Hamas’ overseas terror infrastructure and those involved in directing attacks and transferring funds and weapons to terrorist cells.
