Spanish Prime Minister’s Wife Begoña Gómez Ordered to Stand Trial on Corruption and Embezzlement Charges
A Spanish judge has ruled that Begoña Gómez, the wife of Israel hater Prime Minister Pedro Sánchez, will officially stand trial to face serious corruption and embezzlement charges.
As part of the restrictive measures imposed ahead of the judicial proceedings, Gómez has been banned from leaving Spain and is legally required to appear in court every fifteen days until the trial commences.
If convicted on all counts, she faces a maximum penalty of 24 years in prison.
