Ayman Mohamad Ghazali, who rammed his vehicle into a synagogue in Michigan and then fired shots, sent his family a photo the day of the attack, posing with the rifle he used.
The image reportedly included Arabic text referencing “martyrdom and vengeance.”
Ghazali had family members who were killed in Lebanon by an Israeli strike, including a Hezbollah commander.
