🚨 Just In – Tesla has announced temporary free Supercharging at all its stations in Israel, providing relief to electric vehicle owners amid ongoing regional tensions.
The policy took effect at midnight local time on March 18, covering approximately 25 Supercharger locations across the country, from Kiryat Shmona in the north to Eilat in the south.
Tesla vehicle owners can now charge at no cost during this period, with the measure applying nationwide.
This move mirrors Tesla’s earlier action in October 2023, when free Supercharging was offered in Israel following major security events. The company has described such gestures as standard practice during challenging times, similar to responses in other crises like natural disasters or conflicts.
The free charging initiative also extends to more than 30 stations across the United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia, and Qatar, where it began the previous day. These locations include major sites in Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Riyadh, Jeddah, and Doha.
Tesla has not specified an exact end date for the policy, noting it will remain in place as long as needed. Owners are advised to monitor the Tesla app for any updates, as idle fees may still apply in certain cases.
The announcement underscores Tesla’s approach to supporting mobility and infrastructure resilience when regional conditions become difficult.
