Israel Police: Three Arrested Over Violent Break-In at Beit Shemesh Station
Israel Police said three suspects were arrested overnight in Beit Shemesh over their alleged involvement in a violent break-in and riots at the local police station on June 1, 2026.
According to police, rioters forced entry into the station compound, carried out vandalism, blocked roads with rocks, and set fires that damaged trees and vegetation. Border Police and officers dispersed the unrest at the time.
Following an investigation, detectives and special units arrested three residents of Beit Shemesh aged 26, 46, and 56. They are expected to be brought to court later today for a request to extend their detention.
Police officials said violence against officers and state institutions will not be tolerated.
