President Trump on New York City Mayor Zohran Mamdani:
“[Mamdani] has been in the office, a nice person, but…he’s smart, I don’t know why he wants all these people worth hundreds of millions of dollars to leave. You will end up with death, destruction and squalor.”
“I would be better than him if I wanted to go with that route. ‘Ladies and gentlemen, you will no longer pay rent. You no longer have to pay interest on your mortgage, and no longer gonna have to pay for food. I’m gonna give you free food.’”
