The IDF has cleared for publication that two soldiers were killed during operations in southern Lebanon:
Capt. Shahar Gamla HY”D, 23, from Netur, deputy commander of a platoon in the Egoz Unit, succumbed to wounds sustained after being critically injured in combat in southern Lebanon.

Sgt. Ohad Yaari HY”D, 21, from Rehovot, a soldier in the Shaked Battalion, was killed during an operational mission in southern Lebanon.
