U.S. Strikes Air Defenses on Kharg Island Ahead of Trump’s Deadline
The U.S. military conducted significant precision strikes against air defense systems, radar stations, and military bunkers on Iran’s Kharg Island.
While the island is the primary terminal for 90% of Iran’s oil exports, officials from the Pentagon confirm that the oil loading piers themselves were not the intended targets in this wave.
Instead, the operation was designed to dismantle the island’s defensive umbrella, leaving the energy infrastructure fully exposed.
