President Trump has told Fox News that the United States’ strikes are “ongoing,” with targets including air defenses and radar installations.
Naval bases, air defense sites, and coastal missile batteries have repeatedly been hit across, Sirik, Jask, Minab, Qeshm, and Bandar Abbas.
A U.S. official told CNN that the new strikes are intended as a warning shot at Iran and that the U.S. believes they won’t hinder negotiations to end the war.
IRGC-linked Sabereen News says Iran has launched missiles and drones toward US targets in the region.
Details remain limited and there has been no immediate confirmation from officials in Tehran or Washington.
Iran says a “definitive response” to tonight’s American strikes is coming, with state linked media dismissing the Apache shootdown as a mere pretext for aggression.
Per Tasnim, Tehran is standing by the warning it issued hours earlier and will answer the U.S. attack on its southern coastline.
Qatar and Kuwait, meanwhile, have closed their airspaces.
