US-Iran Agreement Nears Completion
Washington and Tehran are finalizing the text of a new agreement aimed at easing tensions, with a possible announcement expected within hours, sources told Al Arabiya.
Pakistan’s Army Chief, Field Marshal Asim Munir, is scheduled to visit Iran on Thursday, May 21, where he is expected to publicly confirm the completion of the draft deal. Pakistan has played a central mediating role in the indirect talks.

Additional negotiations between the two sides are set to continue in Islamabad after the Hajj season.
