US military shoots down Iranian attack drones in Hormuz, CENTCOM confirms
FRIDAY – The United States military shot down several Iranian suicide drones in the Strait of Hormuz, US Central Command (CENTCOM) announced Friday night.
The drones were an attempt by the regime to target commercial vessels transiting the strait, CENTCOM said.
CENTCOM added that traffic flow through the Hormuz “continues unimpeded” and that the critical waterway “remains open for transit.”
TODAY – CENTCOM also announced today that its forces have so far redirected 141 commercial vessels and disabled 9 to ensure compliance.
