Wizz Air Resumes Flights to Israel Starting Tomorrow
The international low-cost carrier Wizz Air is officially resuming its operations in Israel. Hundreds of thousands of tickets are already available for purchase on wizzair.com and the WIZZ mobile app.
The airline will operate flights to a wide range of destinations, including London, Budapest, Bucharest, Bratislava, Larnaca, Warsaw, Krakow, Milan, Rome, Athens, and Sofia.
Amid industry concerns regarding soaring fuel prices and flight cancellations by other carriers, Wizz Air guarantees operational and financial stability for its passengers. Thanks to a robust jet fuel hedging strategy, the airline has locked in a price of $720 per metric ton for 70% of its fuel requirements. This rate sits significantly below current market prices, which range between $1,200 and $1,500. As a result, the airline is keeping ticket prices stable and avoiding fuel-related fare hikes.
Wizz Air is fully prepared to run its complete flight schedule throughout the peak summer season, allowing travelers to book vacations with confidence. The carrier boasts a 99.53% flight completion rate since the beginning of 2026, establishing it as one of the most reliable airlines in Europe.
By resuming these routes, Wizz Air aims to strengthen its position as the leading low-cost carrier in Israel. Beyond direct flights, the airline connects passengers to its broader network through the Wizz Link service. Wizz Air currently operates over 1,000 routes and targets flying more than 80 million passengers across its global network over the course of 2026.
