El Al to Launch Direct Flights to Buenos Aires After Over a Decade
El Al has announced its return to South America with the launch of a direct route to Buenos Aires, Argentina, for the first time in more than ten years.
The airline plans to operate two weekly flights using its advanced Boeing 787 Dreamliner aircraft, offering Economy, Premium, and Business classes.
Outbound flights are expected to take approximately 16.5 hours, with return flights clocking in at 15.5 hours.
Ticket sales are scheduled to open during May 2026, with the route expected to be operational by the end of the year.
Through a code-share agreement with Aerolíneas Argentinas, El Al will also provide connecting flights from Buenos Aires to various other destinations across the continent.
