Araghchi: Strait of Hormuz Open for Commercial Passage During Lebanon Ceasefire

Iranian Foreign Minister Seyed Abbas Araghchi announced today that the Strait of Hormuz is fully open for the passage of all commercial vessels.

This directive comes as part of Iran’s response to the ten-day ceasefire in Lebanon, which went into effect yesterday.

Araghchi stated that safe passage will be permitted throughout the duration of the truce. He noted that shipping companies should coordinate their transit with the routes and technical guidelines established by the Ports and Maritime Organization of Iran to ensure orderly movement through the corridor.
