Ahmad Vahidi Hiding Iran’s True Situation From Mojtaba Khamenei – Channel 14
According to a source close to the IRGC, cited by Channel 14’s Dror Balazada, Commander Ahmad Vahidi and his associates are allegedly misleading Mojtaba Khamenei by giving him a distorted picture of Iran’s economic situation, hunger and growing public anger.
The source says the goal is to prevent Mojtaba from halting the escalation and allow the IRGC to continue operating without constraints.
The concern within the IRGC, according to the source, is that if Mojtaba fully understood the severity of the situation, he could rein in the force and push for a return to negotiations.
Mojtaba may hold the title of Supreme Leader, but according to the source, Vahidi and the IRGC control the information reaching him, shaping his understanding of what is really happening inside Iran.
