‘Sorry Hitler didn’t finish the job’: Irish tourist threatens Jewish couple in France🤬
A casual supermarket encounter in France turned into an antisemitic confrontation after an Irish tourist allegedly told a Jewish couple he was sorry Hitler had not “finished the job” and later threatened to shoot them.
Karen Ivers, who filmed the incident, posted the footage on X, where it quickly went viral and drew roughly 1 million views within hours.
According to Ivers, the man approached the couple because her husband was wearing a French football shirt and he heard them speaking English. He joked, “Why is an Englishman wearing a French shirt?” Her husband replied that he was Australian and liked the shirt. The man introduced himself as “Paddy from Ireland,” and they exchanged names and shook hands.
The conversation initially remained friendly, moving from football to politics. Ivers said she objected not to Ireland’s football team but to Irish politics, which she described as strongly anti-Israel and supportive of Hamas and Hezbollah.
She said the man then became aggressive and said he was sorry Hitler had not “finished the job.” The video begins afterward, with Ivers repeatedly challenging him to repeat the remark. The man responds, “You’re in Europe here.”
He then threatens her, saying, “Get away from me before I put a bullet in your head, okay?”
Ivers later posted the footage with the message, “Make this Irish Nazi psychopath famous.” It was widely shared, drawing attention to both the alleged antisemitic remark and the explicit threat.
