Israel Air Force Inducts Second KC46 Tanker Aircraft – N12

The plane arrived less than three months after the first one and is expected to reach combat readiness within days.

Manufactured by Boeing, the tanker serves as a major force multiplier for the air force. It expands operational range, freedom of action, and independence during long distance missions, with particular emphasis on potential operations against Iran.

The delivery occurs against a backdrop of Iranian efforts to use the current ceasefire period for preparations toward wider confrontation, alongside the possibility that Israel may need to conduct strikes in distant arenas once more.
