🚨 Netanyahu Orders Forceful Strikes in Lebanon After Ceasefire Violations
Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has ordered the Israeli military to carry out “forceful” strikes against Hezbollah targets in Lebanon, following a series of ceasefire violations along the northern border.
The escalation came after two rockets were launched from Lebanon toward northern Israel, triggering sirens in several Galilee communities. According to the IDF, one rocket was intercepted while the other landed in an open area, with no injuries reported.
Shortly afterward, drone infiltration alerts were activated across parts of the western and upper Galilee. Israeli forces reported that two aerial targets crossed into Israeli territory, intercepting one while losing track of the second.
In response, the IDF carried out a series of strikes in southern Lebanon, targeting Hezbollah infrastructure, including weapons storage facilities and operational sites linked to the Radwan Force. The military also reported that multiple Hezbollah operatives were killed during the operation.
Israeli officials described the rocket fire and drone activity as a “blatant violation” of the ceasefire, which had recently been extended amid ongoing diplomatic efforts.
Local leaders in northern Israel have voiced growing frustration, warning that continued attacks are preventing residents from returning to normal life and calling for stronger action to ensure long-term security.
