Palestinian Authority Schools in Judea and Samaria Incorporate October 7 Massacre Into Curriculum🤬

Schools operated by the Palestinian Authority in Judea and Samaria have incorporated math exercises and songs based on Hamas’s October 7 attack into their curricula, according to monitoring organization Palestinian Media Watch.

Nine-year-old students at Al-Kuwait Elementary School were asked to create multiplication problems based on events from the massacre, including calculating the number of Israelis killed or rockets fired by the Al-Qassam Brigades over nine days. Teachers praised students who accompanied their calculations with derogatory terms and blessings for “martyrs.”

Female students at elementary schools in Hebron, Ramallah, Tulkarm, Nablus and Jenin were also documented reciting songs glorifying the attack and expressing pride in the events of that day.

Itamar Marcus, director of Palestinian Media Watch, warned that the institutional glorification of the murder of Israelis shows how deeply rooted the phenomenon is in the PA’s educational system. He said announced reforms would be meaningless without changes in leadership and school oversight.

The findings come as PA schools operate only three days a week amid a severe economic crisis that has led to cuts in public services.
