Pregnant Woman Dies from Rare Complication at Soroka Hospital
A woman in her 40s in the 34th week of her seventh pregnancy died at Soroka Medical Center in Be’er Sheva after suffering a rare and severe medical complication.
The woman arrived at the hospital complaining of severe abdominal pain. As her condition rapidly deteriorated, she was rushed into emergency surgery, where the fetus was delivered stillborn.

Following the surgery, she was transferred in critical condition to the intensive care unit, where she died the following day. Soroka Medical Center reported the incident to the Ministry of Health, which has launched a review into the case.
