Shomrim of Toronto, Misaskim, and authorities are searching for a 14-year-old girl named Esther who’s been missing in North York, Toronto since Friday.
Esther (Esti) was last seen at Earl Bales Park, near Bathurst Street and Sheppard Avenue West on Friday night at around 11:30 PM, wearing a green and grey long-sleeve shirt and grey sweatpants. Police say she was heading in a northeasterly direction. She is described as being five-foot-two with a medium build and brown hair.
Earl Bales Park is a heavily wooded area spread across 127 acres of land. It has multiple walking trails and the West Don River runs through it.
Police drones are in the air that have heat capabilities to search for heat signatures, and officers have been on the ground, according to Inspector Scott Bradbury.
